The first nebula ever seen was the Dumbbell Nebula on July 12, 1764 and the person who also discovered it is Charles Messier. Nebulae come in all shapes and sizes, some of the names are Crab Nebulae, Cat eye Nebulae, eagle nebulae and much more. Nebulae also show up in a variety of colors too. It's almost like an art display in the sky.
There isn't only one type of Nebulae there are lots more. Some types are Reflection Nebula, Emission Nebula, Dark Nebulae and Planetary Nebulae. Nebulae are made up of hydrogen, helium and other ionized gases.
