Minding Your Health with Mrs. Cass
This month in health we will be working on the social-emotional dimension of health. Because it’s the month of Thanksgiving, this a perfect opportunity for us to reflect on the people and things that make our lives better. So, we will focus on creating a culture of kindness and appreciation. What makes our lives better? Who makes our lives better? What can we do to show them how grateful we are?
I believe that if we can let others know how they improve our lives and well-being, then we can create an emotionally healthy community. Spread kindness and make it infectious. We can all use an emotional boost every now and then. 😊
Cheers to you and your great health!
Playing Music with Mr. Ryan
Hi all you Odyssey Orcas! We have started our “Music Play” Company songs and lessons: In Schoology, you click on the “Music Play” link, start at the top with lesson #1, and work your way down the list. If there is a lesson you cannot do, just skip it and go to the next lesson. After that, you may go to the Music Choice Board with 16 different learning activities! Please remember that our music lessons are on Monday and no more than 45 minutes. Have a great November!
Kickin in PE with Mrs. Corsi
Happy November Odyssey Orcas!
Have you checked out the PE lessons and Movement Breaks on Schoology? I have been working hard to come up with fun, engaging, and exciting ways to help kiddos get moving and reset their brains after sitting at their computers for long periods of time. We have been working on locomotor skills and will be diving into even more PE content in November! I can’t wait!!!
Have you made it to Wacky Wednesdays? Every Wednesday Odyssey Specialists will host an all-school assembly. Join us every Wednesday at 11:30 to get up and moving, sing songs, hear a readaloud, and play some games!
I hope to see you all at Wacky Wednesday!

Present, Engaged and Supported
Your child’s regular attendance even in Distance Learning is critical to their academic success. Here are a few ways to help your child stay on course in their learning:
Be present – make sure they come to our Morning Meetings/Class Times on Zoom and log into Schoology each day
Be engaged – make sure they log into Schoology each day, participate in live and independent work, complete and submit assignments or tasks
Be supported – make sure they ask for help during class or come to my Office Hours for help and support
Remember to notify the school office when your child is absent. Daily attendance notifications have resumed. You will receive attendance notifications if your child does not attend a class. Please make sure your contact information is updated and accurate so we can reach you as needed.
