Gaga Pit
Former Fox Cub and current SHHS student Jake Harrison reached out to us during the fall with hopes of installing a gaga pit for our students to enjoy during recess. This act of kindness is part of an eagle scout project for him.
After surveying the grounds we selected the area pictured below. Work began this past weekend with the goal of completion during spring break. Jake and his family would like to be ready upon returning April 22nd.
The area has been cautioned off. During recess I am asking that this specific area remain inaccessible this week (there is a call for rain Monday, Tuesday, and Friday) at this point but time will tell. If you have any questions please let me know.
Further details to come.
We develop students who care about the world we live in and express critical thinking through natural curiosity and wonder.
