New Word Bank Exercises and Label Image Questions in Moodle
Moodle has a couple of new question types with the latest updates.
Word Bank Passages- You can create word bank passages, so that students have to complete a passage by filling in blanks. You can set the question so that students choose the correct missing word from a drop down menu on each blank OR you can create a word bank for students to select from to complete the passage. If you are looking for something where students have to come up with the word on their own, like a cloze exercise, Moodle has that too!
Label an image- Another new question type allows you to upload an image that students must label. They do this from a word bank (or image bank, you could have them drag and drop pictures of flags onto the correct countries, for example)
If you are looking to get started on Moodle, let me know and I will help you get set up!
