Veterans Day Assembly Tomorrow!

Park School will be having a short assembly honoring our veterans on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 9:45am. Parents/relatives of our students who have served in the Armed Forces will share (1-5 minutes) with our audience their years of service, area of service in the Armed Forces, and what being a veteran means to them.

There is a mini-assembly at the Courthouse on the Square immediately following our assembly if you'd like to attend that.

*Note: We are also asking that our Boy and Girl Scouts wear their uniforms for this day.*

ATTENDANCE and being ON TIME matters. Thank you students for being on time and present for learning!

WEATHER-APPROPRIATE CLOTHING FOR RECESS

Please send your child to school with labeled, weather appropriate clothing for recess. Recess will be outdoors as long as the wind-chill is above 15 degrees. We do not have extra clothes available at school.

Painting the Blacktop!

We were so happy to complete this project for the students of Park Elementary School! They have been playing kickball with nearly invisible bases for several years. Thank you to Lisa Rhamy, Alison Streiff, Jason Brown, Matt Stout, and Jake Hatmaker for completing this project Saturday morning, and to Doug Rhamy and Pinpoint Painting for donating the paint and supplies. And Special thank you to students Henry Rhamy and Philip Streiff who helped paint home plate! The weather cooperated and hopefully the kids will be able to get lots of play on it until the snow falls!
