OPEN NIGHT - THANKS FOR COMING!
For your presence, your good humour, your positive outlook, and your interest ...
For the way you listened, asked good questions, affirmed and encouraged your children ...
For understanding that real learning is more about the process than the product...
We hope you enjoyed the opportunity and if you haven't had time to give your teacher some positive feedback, we would really appreciate it if you would do this before we break for holidays. A little encouragement and gratitude goes a long way and acknowledges the time and extra effort that staff go amidst a busy term.

We receive a commission from all sales and this money will go to ensuring that quality book titles continue to sit on our library shelves.
Amidst the ups and downs of everyday life, prayer can sustain us...
Let us continue to place our worries and cares into the hands of a God who loves us beyond all imagining and who hears the call of our hearts ...
2021 House Athletics Carnival
De Vialar House Day
You will have noticed that each house flag also bears a motto - De Vialar's is DEEP DEVOTEDNESS. St Emilie was devoted to a God she loved and spent her life championing for children and the poor.
Thank you to staff and students for your presentation, for your House chants and for the items that you have delivered to your charity - well done!
Pictured above is Mikelah from Year 6 who took home the Sandra Gorringe Award for Speech and Drama on Monday night.
Congratulations Mikelah on your excellent performance - you have much to celebrate!
THANK YOU FOR COMPLETING THE SCHOOL Climate Survey. Your feedback and your voice really matter to us!
Climate Survey Letter
Below you will find a LETTER TO PARENTS explaining all about the School Climate Survey which has now opened. As you will read, all St Emilie's families are invited to complete a short survey that will give us important feedback in regard to various aspects of school life. A code and username was emailed to all families on Monday. The survey closes on the 24th September. Thank you for your time and support.
Prayer for Parents of Confirmation Candidates
Lord, You send out Your Spirit to touch the hearts of all people, so that they may believe in
You and in Jesus whom You sent.
Look kindly on all candidates for Confirmation as they listen to Your voice. Open their hearts to Your Spirit and bring to fulfilment the good work that You have begun in them.
As parents, we are role models and guides, make each of us an instrument of Your love.
Teach us to appreciate what is holy in others, and to be patient with what we do not understand. Deepen our faith in the Gospel and help us to pass it on by our good example.
We pray that You will continue to guide and sustain us on our journey.
Through Christ our Lord,
Confirmation Masses this weekend
We wish all Confirmation candidates from the school and the parish all the best for the upcoming Sacrament this weekend.
The children have been well prepared and their challenge now, as it is for us all, is to go out and LIVE THE GOSPEL, drawing on the strength of the Holy Spirit.
Parent and grandparents are very welcome!
Congratulations to the RYDE family on the safe arrival of their new baby - Makayla Vivie Ryde
on the 07/09/2021.
Mum and baby doing well and Leahna, Rhiannon and Braeleigh are very proud big sisters.
All the very best to you all!
ST Emilie's Class Allocation Procedure
Below is a document that explains our position on class placement here at St Emilie's. Please read it carefully when you have a moment - we hope it brings further clarity to why we feel confident in our decision-making. In saying this, if you wish to make a request, please place it in writing to the Principal by Friday 22nd October. Requests will of course be considered, however in the final analysis, many factors come into play when making these decisions.

Kindy Enrolments for 2022 - do you have a child starting Kindy next year?
Kindy interviews for children born between 1/7/2017 and 30/6/2018 - ie turning 4 before the 30th June 2022 are being held now.
If you have a child starting next year please ensure that you have completed an enrolment form. We still have some spaces so please spread the word!
Kindy enrolments are an exciting time for our school - we love to meet new families and touch base with our existing families!
Social Worker PARENT REFERRAL and CONSENT FORM
School social workers focus on the student in the school environment and work collaboratively with principals and teachers to minimise the impacts of personal, family and school difficulties and, where possible, remove any barriers to learning.
With students as their focus, school social workers provide consultancy, advice and support to principals, teachers and other school staff and to families, so that they can best meet the needs of individual and groups of children and young people. There is a strong emphasis on individual student and family counselling and support.
This service is an amazing opportunity for kids, staff and families and one we have wanted in our school for some time.
Please find below the Parent Referral and Consent Form to access our School Social Worker.
You are asked to read the procedure carefully and also note that Kylie only works two days a week. While she will do her very best to accomodate all family referrals, patience may be required as she prioritises her case load and allows time for observation visits, classroom support and playground involvement.
Image Embroidery now services our school community's uniform requirements.
For all uniform queries, please contact a member of the Image Embroidery team (contact details below).
Their store is just 5 minutes from St Emilie's for 'try ons' or you can order uniforms via their online form.
