Grover Heights Elementary School Vision Statement

Attendance and Absences

If your child misses a day of school, please notify the office with the reason for their absence. To clear and absence you can call into the school office, email the attendance secretary at kara.ramirez@lmusd.org, or you can complete the online absence form at https://forms.gle/aJbHmaZdJN4DwM7Z8 . If your child was out of school and visited a doctor, please turn in a copy of the doctor note.

Klondike's Pizza Family Night

Please join us for our spirit night at Klondikes! A portion of sales from that evening will benefit our Dragons! Teachers and staff will be the "celebrity servers"!

BOX TOPS support our library!

Our library will now benefit from Box Top fundraising! Mrs. Jackie will now head up our Box Top program and thus be able to order more books with the funds that we raise by turning in box tops! Please turn them into your teacher, the office, or now the library!

Hello Dragons,

Please be sure to join your friends and your favorite teacher / staff servers at Klondike's Pizza in downtown AG on Wednesday from 5pm-8pm. A portion of the proceeds are donated to Grover Heights PTA, and it's a great opportunity for our school community to get together. Take Out orders counts as well!

Talent Show Note - Would you or your business like to sponsor? For $100 your logo will be included in our program, and your business will be mentioned during the show. Last year was a "sell out" with over 600 in attendance. Please email gobluemariam@yahoo.com if interested! The show is March 13, but we need to submit the program well in advance - so act fast!

What have your PTA dollars funded lately: 6 after school Zulu dance classes for up to 40 students with recital during Talent Show (sign up sheets coming out by email SOON!), New headphones for computer lab, Planners for upper grades for next year, Permanent communication board for playground so that special needs students can communicate with all friends!

Have ideas and things you want to see happen? Join us at the next PTA meeting on Feb. 13 at 3pm!

CodeDigs STEM Club

PTA has funded two sessions of an afterschool STEM club. Clubs will be held for an hour after school on Wednesdays. TK-2 grade club will begin on February 26 and end on April 1st. The 3rd-6th grade club will begin on April 22nd and end on May 27. Please complete an application and turn it into the office. Applications can be found on our website or in the office. There are only 24 spaces for each club. A lottery will be done if there are more than 24 applications turned in. Please have applications turned in no later than February 19th. The club for 3-6 graders will begin in April 22nd. We will begin to accept applications for the upper grade club on March 25 and close it on April 8th. Please see the attached application.

Zulu Dance after school class for the Talent Show!

Hi Grover Heights Parents!

Thanks to PTA we are able to offer free dance classes/rehearsals to 40 Grover Heights students. You must email Zulu Dance directly to reserve your child's spot as there are only 40 spots available. Do not turn in forms to the school office. The registration form with detailed information is on our website and the completed form can be emailed to:
