SMCS Mission
Preparing and inspiring students to lead meaningful lives, rooted in the teachings of Christ and our Catholic tradition.
Greetings from the Principal
Dear Lord, thank You for this food we are about to eat. We are especially grateful this time of year, as we reflect on Your provision, all You have given us — and the love You have placed in our lives.
Dear St. Gabriel Families,
I am thankful for our teachers who come to school each day and inspire our students to love learning. I am thankful for our families who entrust us with their amazing children and continually support St. Gabriel and our entire SMCS family. I am thankful for our students who come to school each day eager to learn and who fill our hallways with smiles and laughter. I am especially thankful to spend my days in an environment where God is visible, heard, and loved at all times.
Wishing you the gift of faith and the blessing of hope this Thanksgiving Day!
Blessings,
Mrs. Jennifer Giombetti

Classroom Spotlight!
We are blessed to have two Four Year Old Kindergarten classrooms at St. Gabriel. This week, we are spotlighting Ms. Plumb's class. Ms. Plumb is joined by our wonderful teacher aides, Mrs. Hamilton and Mrs. Wagner. The 4K students have been learning about Thanksgiving and what it means to be thankful. They made beautiful turkeys with feathers listing what each child is thankful for! We hope our sweet 4K students have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Second Grade Field Trip
The second grade class went to Heckrodt Nature Preserve. Students toured the nature preserve and learned about what makes a wetland. Students also had a program on black bears and worked together to build a den out of branches.

Let's fuel our teachers for the school year! There are two opportunities to help.
Stock the teacher's lounge: An Amazon wish list has been created with our teacher's favorite treats! https://a.co/etllV7E You can either order directly from Amazon and everything will be delivered directly to the school, or purchase them locally and drop them off yourself. Either way is greatly appreciated. The list will be kept up to date so check back throughout the year as well.
