In this magical season of giving, one local group, which would greatly benefit from the generosity of others, is The Neighborhood House:
Morristown Neighborhood House was founded in 1898 as a settlement house that embraced the Morristown community’s growing diversity. To date, it has remained a pillar of diversity and cross-cultural positivity in the Morristown area. The Neighborhood House is unique in providing a wide array of services that enhance educational and social development in Morristown’s youth.
Because of its year-round resources available to children of all ages, the Neighborhood House has become a second home to many of its families, promoting creativity, academic, and social potential with the ultimate goal of making a difference every day.
Hillcrest School will begin collecting unwrapped donations

MSD Volunteer Update - Actualización de los voluntarios de MSD
The Morris School District greatly appreciates the generosity and enthusiasm of our parent volunteers for sharing their time and talents with our students in school. However, due to the escalation of our region and all of NJ to the "orange" (high risk) category for COVID transmission, and the increase in positive cases (56 as of 12/15) and quarantines (110) districtwide, we have made the decision to temporarily suspend the admission of parent volunteers in the schools. This decision is part of our strategy to keep schools open and limit student quarantining as much as possible. As you may know, we have experienced breakthrough cases in which vaccinated individuals have tested positive, resulting in the quarantining of students. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to welcoming volunteers into our schools when it is safe to do so.
El Distrito Escolar de Morris aprecia enormemente la generosidad y el entusiasmo de nuestros padres voluntarios por compartir su tiempo y talento con nuestros estudiantes en la escuela.
