7 Habits Theme: Growth and Change
Personal leadership is not a singular experience. It doesn’t begin and end with the writing of a personal mission statement. It is, rather, the ongoing process of keeping your vision and values before you and aligning your life to be congruent with those most important things.

Important Dates
Monday, September 10th
- Happy Birthday to Duane Cox!!
- NWEA - ELA finish testing
- 12:30 - 2 PM - Middle School Site Visit (Dr. Teeter, Dr. Templeton, and Stephanie Anderson will be in classrooms)
- Meeting after school in the library - no PD. This meeting will help answer some of the questions asked during the district PD day before labor day. We will have another Q & A session for teachers to share how things are going this year and what we can do to support each other.
- After the faculty meeting in the library, there will be a meeting for anyone that is interested in helping plan Leadership Day taking place in February.
- NWEA in Math classes
- Goal setting during Team Time (Amelia and Amy will be present to help)
- Tutoring in the library after school - Futrell
- 4 PM - Cross Country @ Bolivar
- 5:30 PM - 7th and 8th grade Volleyball @ Home vs Joplin
- 5:30 PM - 7th grade Football @ Neosho
Wednesday, September 12th
- 6:45 AM - Lighthouse Meeting (everyone is invited - please join the meeting)
- NWEA testing in Science
Thursday, September 13th
- Intruder Drill 2nd Hour - Listen for the all call over the intercom. We will use the term "Hard Lockdown". You will use all the steps on your procedure chart under "Lockdown" (the chart should be posted by your door or phone). These are the items we will be doing during this drill:
Lock/Close doors and shut exterior blinds. Keep students calm and quiet.
Verify all students are accounted for and do not allow students to leave the classroom or to enter during the lockdown.
Notify the office immediately if students are out of the room.
Move students out of the view from hallway.
Maintain calm and order until all-clear is given.

Friday, September 14th
- NWEA makeup testing
- NWEA data analysis during ELA, Math, and Science department meetings. Amelia and Amy will be there to help support the teams.
