Viruses and Bacteria..
How much longer can we survive? By: Laura Flowers
How can you resist it, if you don't know what it is?
Viruses are sub-microscopic particles that can affect the cells of any biological organism.
Bacteria are unicellular microorganisms. They have many different shapes including Rod, Spiral, and Sphere. The difference between them is a viruses is non-living (no cells) and Bacteria is (one-celled). Bacteria is treated by anti-biotics and Viruses are treated by vaccinations. Another thing that is different about them is bacteria's DNA float freely in the cytoplasm while viruses DNA is inside a coat of protein. Neither of these have a nucleus. Viruses are not beneficial, they can cause the flu can then make you die. Bacteria multiplies every 20 minutes and is larger than a virus. There are good types of Bacteria that actually help you and viruses and not at all beneficial. Bacteria and Viruses are the most common cause of food poisoning.
