- Make sure you have explored the examples above before you begin your project.
- Make sure you have read the iBook and earned your Badge FIRST.
- Make sure you have also explored the additional resources above.
- Create your CURRICULUM presentation project in Keynote.
- In other words, this is your presentation to your class of students. I suspect many of you would normally default to Powerpoint when asked to create a presentation, but Keynote has very powerful features. You learned many of them in the Getting Started with Keynote iBook when you earned your badge.
- Include what you have learned in your presentation, but make sure you include Magic Move someplace in your presentation as well as at least one other feature you discovered from the resources above.
- Choose a topic/unit you will teach in your classroom, stick to your CURRICULUM.
- Create your presentation in Keynote, remember, your presentation must include MAGIC MOVE. (Tutorials below)
- Record your presentation just as if you were doing it live in class using the Screen Recording feature on your iPad (Tutorials Below).
- Instructions for screen recording feature of iOS 11.
- Since we are screen recording your presentation, let's use that teacher's voice!!
- Screenrecording automatically adds the recording to Photos when you stop recording.
- Next, upload your recorded presentation from photos to YOUTUBE.
- After you have added to Youtube, add the Youtube movie of your Presentation to Seesaw and padlet. https://padlet.com/ded318/keynotefall2018
HINTS:
- Practice before you record. write a script or at least an outline.
- Make sure you turn on the mic in your screen recording, we want to hear your teacher voice.
- Upload your video to Youtube. We have uploaded to Youtube last week with iMovie, here is a little more practice at mastering that skill.
- Make sure your video on Youtube is Unlisted or Public. If it is private no one can view it!!

TWITTER ISSUES: Many of you, mostly those with NEW twitter accounts that have created an account but did not tweet since creating had had their accounts suspended.
I have been researching because a number of you are having this problem. It appears the account is suspended for lack of activity but could be other reasons. So, in the spirit of fairness, I am gonna not worry about it for this assignment. in other words, I will not deduct points for not tweeting.
Had you tweeted right away after creating the account, likely your account would NOT have been suspended. Here are instructions for reactivating your account. https://help.twitter.com/en/managing-your-account/how-to-reactivate-twitter-account. Although deleting the account and creating a new one might be easier. Regardless of which you do, Tweet something!!!
Tweet directly from the Youtube page using the required hashtags
There is a BUG, occasionally, when you upload to Youtube the sound does not come with it. Here is the fix!
Here are 2 videos with the fix for the NO sound issue on Youtube. Oddly this does not happen to everyone, just a few pof you will experience the issue, but what to video belwo to find to solution for fixing the poroble. Both videos discuss the same app and process, but each person explains it a bit differently. I am sure it will make sense.
If you have the issue of no sound when you uplod your screen recording to Youtube, try this. install the Splice app and follow the instruction in one of the videos below. then reupload your newly fixed video to Youtube.
Use the title of your Movie as the Title in Padlet
