Gators of the Week: Men's Varsity Soccer Wins 4A State Championship

Work hard. In a history making evening on Saturday night, the Men's Varsity Soccer team won its first state 4A title beating Clover High School 5-0. While it was RBHS's first team state championship in Men's Soccer, it was Coach Savitz's 700th win and 15th state title.

What an amazing way for our 12 seniors to end their RBHS careers.

Our fans were the best.

Gators of the Week: Ms. Myers's CREW Visits Pen Pals

Do good. This past week, Ms. Myers and her CREW visited with their Pen Pals from Pleasant Hill Elementary. Second graders taught by Mrs. Halfacre-Bryant had pen pals with this 12th grade CREW this past year. They had an ice cream party after meeting their friends. Both groups LOVED it!!

Long Beach High School, NY Sends Supplies to RBHS

Nike Work Based Learning Center Serves RBHS and SC Flood Victims

The name of the school is the Nike Work-Based Learning Center, an alternative high school setting within the Long Beach Public School District on Long Island. It will be three years ago this coming Thursday when the town of Long Beach was decimated by Hurricane Sandy. Recently, a fried to our Counselor Dr. Vacchio, had kept an eye on my social media presence and on the news, and he had reached out to RB to see how the Nike Center could help with our local flood relief efforts.

The school's administrator Mr. Howard Fuchs, classmate and teammate to Dr. Vacchio, set a goal twofold: for Nike WBL Center to establish and maintain a lasting relationship with RBHS and to help with fundraising and donation efforts in our area. Pictures below show the fruits of this labor. SC and RBHS is eternally indebted to the service of the students at this high school and look forward to a long term relationship.
