Learning Model Updates

As you know, CCSD recently announced a timeline for additional opening of schools. We are currently planning an developing specific information about a return to school for students in Grades 4 and 5 and for the transition for grades Pre-K through 3 to in-person learning availability five days per week. All students attending school in-person will follow the updated procedures in place, including the wearing of masks for the entire day (with the exception of dining and outdoor physical exertion), maintaining of physical distance, limited access around campus, etc.

We have sent surveys to all families requesting responses that will assist our school in developing plans based on their preferences for either full in-person learning or full distance learning. We need one survey to be completed for each child enrolled at LWJES by the end of the day on Monday, March 8, 2021. The links to the surveys are available using the buttons in this section of the newsletter.

For those students who have not yet returned to in-person learning but may be returning on April 6th, it is time to prepare for April 6th by wearing a mask during learning time if your preference is for your child to attend school in-person. For the week of March 8th, start the week with one hour and end the week building up to at least 3 hours of mask wearing practice.

Please know that information about the learning models for LWJES will come directly from LWJES, either through the weekly newsletter, ParentLink, or Class Dojo.

We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we develop and modify plans.

Student Google Account Passwords

In order to assist students with accessing their CCSD Google account, including logging into Chromebooks, we request that families maintain their child's password using the District's standard format. There is no way for the school to locate a student's password.

The standard format is the student's date of birth in the following format: YYYYMMDD

For example, a student with a date of birth of May 7, 2009, would have a password of 20090507.

Student passwords may be reset at https://myaccount.ccsd.net/#/.

Please be advised that if a student is at school for in-person learning and does not remember their password, we may have to reset the student's password at school.
