Timothy Ball News February 24-28
Welcoming all. Believing in all. Growth for all.
A Note from Mr. Ciochina
Periodically I will share our morning and dismissal procedures. Our number one priority is to ensure a safe arrival and dismissal for all students – I thank you in advance for following our procedures.
A few highlights:
- Please write a note to your child’s teacher in the event of a dismissal change. In the event of an emergency dismissal change, please call the office prior to 3 pm.
- If your child is a walker and you pick them up across the street, please only park on the WEST side of Wirtz Road pointing SOUTH. In order for us to be respectful neighbors, please avoid parking on Wirtz Ct. and other areas with homes.
- The lower west parking lot should not be used pick up students. (unless you have arranged a plan for this with Mr. Ciochina)
- Please display (in the passenger window area) the yellow car line sheet with your child’s name to help speed up the car line.
Reminders
- Kindergarten Registration for 2020-2021 is next Thursday at Timothy Ball from 9:30-11 am and from 1-3 pm. More information is posted later in this newsletter.
- Third grade parents will be receiving a letter from me next week regarding IREAD-3 Testing coming up during the week of March 16-20. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for being a fantastic partner in education. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Social Emotional News from Mrs. Holok
Happy Friday everyone! Here is the link to an article I recently read regarding ways to build empathy in children. It’s important to note that empathy is not feeling sorry for someone. It is the ability to understand another person’s feelings. This is a very important skill for our children to learn as they grow and work to build supportive and healthy interactions and relationships with others.
