Ms. Gordon
This week in Gordon's math class we did the introduction to slopes. We will continue to maintain and develop this skill after the break.
Parents, there will also be an assignment posted on Monday 12/21 and is due on January 2, for all students with a D or below in math. This assignment is an effort to help those students who have fallen behind in their classwork. If students demonstrate mastery by scoring 60% or above, I will use this grade as their final 9-weeks grade. Please note to complete this assignment successful students will need to watch the videos and show their work. I must get the assignment on time to grade it and put it in the grade book for the end of the grading period.
Thank you parents for all your assistance as we close out 2020. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!

Specialty High School Options
As crazy as it sounds, it is already the time of year for our students to start the process of learning about and applying to our specialty options programs for high school. The county wants all of the 8th graders to view the specialty option video and fill out an exit ticket on google forms that will record for us where our students are interested in going. Below is a link to the quick reference guide as well as the google form for interest.
