Elevated Bits and Bytes

Weekly Update- October 14th, 2022

We really don't have a lot this week to share. The students went on some amazing WOWEE field trips and our secondary students had a great debate today. It's always fun to see the kids get together and socialize.

A few reminders:

October 31st is a Professional Development Day for teachers so there is NO SCHOOL that day.

School pictures are coming up on November 15th so get those haircuts scheduled.

Dental Van

In order for the Dental Van to come to Al Tahoe, we need 10 families to sign up for services. If you're interested in dental services, please come by the office and ask Diana about the necessary paperwork. The dental van is scheduled to come to Tahoe Valley, Sierra House, and Bijou.

Tutoring for All

Tutoring For All: Gov. Newsom announced this last week and it's pretty incredible. There is a FREE tutoring website for any/all K-12 students in the state. Check it out here:

Students will need to create an account to have access to all the tutoring opportunities including math support, writing help, and help for English learners as well.

Vaccine Clinics

El Dorado County is hosting vaccine clinics for both COVID-19 and the flu shot. See the links below for more information.
