1. Sports drinks are better than drinking water during athletics. Unless you are running a marathon and need to regain what you've lost through sweating, sports drinks are unnecessary. Water is the best way to transport nutrients and energy, and it also removes heat from your body.
2. Everyone needs eight glasses of water a day. Women should drink about eight glasses and men should drink about twelve glasses, but of water and other drinks. Other important nutrients can come from other drinks, such as milk.
