MESSAGE FROM MRS. MOTZNY
We are planning a Holiday of Fun for our Sampson Stallions on Friday, December 17th. Our fabulous PTO will be providing activities such as: a reindeer mask craft, a reindeer toss game, reindeer Bingo, and decorating a cookie (to look like a reindeer). The teachers will be adding fun activities to last the entire day. Visitors will not be allowed to attend the Holiday of Fun events. We do not want to encourage large crowds of individuals inside the building, and we want this last day before our holiday break to be a fun filled day for students and staff. We appreciate any support that our community can provide for our Holiday of Fun. To donate please use this link: We hope that you enjoy your Thanksgiving break, and we look forward to seeing you on Monday, November 29th.
Sincerely,
Heather Motzny

Nature Trails
NATURE TRAILS MAKE UP DAY
Great news! We will make up our Nature Trails Day 2 (postponed due to weather) on Monday, December 13th. Students will bring home a new permission form for the new date. Remember, students will:
- leave Sampson around 9am and return around 2pm
- wear long pants (not leggings), socks, and closed-toe shoes for safety. In addition, keep the weather conditions in mind. Your child may need layers that can be added/removed for comfort.
- bring a lunch in a container to keep insects out or purchase a box lunch from the cafeteria. Water bottles are recommended.
We look forward to a great day at the Trails!

Our Jingle Bell Jog 5K is just around the corner! We can't wait for the fun morning. If you did not get to register and you would still like to participate, please go into School Cash and register now. Registering after November 15 does not guarantee a t-shirt, but you will get bells, a reward at the end, and guaranteed fun - rain or shine!
On the morning of December 4, we will have a costume contest for best holiday costume. Prizes will be awarded for the top three places. We will send home t-shirts, race bibs, and bells with students the week before the 5K. Thanks!
5th grade book club met last week and they were, no surprise, amazing. Our next meeting will be on December 9 during lunch to discuss The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
