All K-Grade 5 RISD at-risk students recommended by their campus

Summer school for all Robstown ISD at-risk students grades K-5 will be held Monday-Thursday from 8:30-3:00pm at Lotspeich Elementary School. Regular transportation will be provided from Driscoll, San Pedro and Ortiz to Lotspeich. Students should be dropped off at their home campus at 7:30am and picked up by 3:30pm.

Breakfast will be served 8:00-8:30 and lunch will be provided.

Students will have ELAR and Math. 21st Century will provide enrichment, STEM, Reader's Theatre, One Book One School and many fun activities.

Who Can Attend?

  • All Kindergarten through fifth grade students at-risk and recommended by their campus (still developing on TPRI, or did not pass their grade level or missed significant instruction during the previous year)
  • Students that did not meet standard on STAAR
  • Some PK4 bilingual and k-5 migrant students will also be included and contacted by their home campus to verify enrollment

One location for all students grades K-5

Students from PK, Robert Driscoll ES, Lotspeich ES, San Pedro ES and Ortiz Intermediate will all be served at one campus to maximize personnel and conserve resources. Pre-K students are not eligible for summer school unless they are served by migrant and/or bilingual programs. PK will send home separate information for those students. Eligible students at Seale Jr. High and Robstown High School will be served on those campuses and they will send out that information separately.

Transportation is provided if your student normally rides the bus

Students that normally attend Lotspeich or San Pedro will be picked up and dropped off from those campuses.
