We LOVE Celebrations!
Last Friday, we held an exciting Captain's Awards Assembly. At this assembly we honored more than 130 students from ELA and EMS for their work on their latest benchmark assessment. The benchmark tests happen in all 4 core contents as a unit exam. More than 130 students earned proficient or better on at least one of these tests.
We also honored our Captain's Award winners as well as our Pirate Cup winner.

Parent Connections--Survey Outcomes and Next Steps
Last week at our SAC meeting, we had 9 members in attendance representing both EMS and ELA. During this meeting we discussed the survey results from the culture/climate survey as well as the survey from our DAC representatives. Based on this data, we have set some goals to improve our schools. Linked here you will find my letter to the community regarding the results.
