Soldier Cookie Project
9th Annual
Soldier Cookie Project
Help us prepare and send care packages to troops serving around the world this Holiday season. Each Foods class will be baking a variety of cookies for our military men and women.
We are in need of names and addresses of FHS alumni serving away from home this holiday season. So, if there is someone you would like us to send a package to, please send their name and address to Lisa Barnes lbarnes@framingham.k12.ma.us.
We are also asking for donation items for the care packages.
Here are some suggestions:
Personal care items (razors, toothbrushes & paste, deodorant, beard care items, feminine care, foot powder, etc.)
Magazines
Amazon & iTunes Gift Cards
Hot Sauce
K-Cups
Gum, mints, candy
Beef jerky, granola bars, trail mix, protein bars
Please submit your donations and addresses by Tuesday December 3rd. The care packages will be mailed the week after Thanksgiving to ensure they arrive in time for the holidays.
Thank you for your support!

Idling in parking lots is prohibited
Idling in the parking lots is blocking access to teacher and student parking spaces. As a result, teachers and students are late to school. I respectfully ask that you avoid blocking parking spaces in the parking lots. Thank you for your support and understanding.
Student Dismissals 24 hour notice please
Please email Ms. Halliday (challiday@framingham.k12.ma.us) or send in a dismissal note at least 24 hours in advance. Please do not call the school to dismiss your student unless it is an emergency. This will assist us with a timely and orderly process for student dismissals. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

School entry time for students
Specific doors are designated for student entry between 7:00-7:25am. Please enter though the main entrance, the gym, door #4 near the auditorium, the bus drop off doors (#26-29) along the soccer field, and doors 15 and 16 entering the F hallway. Student swipe badges will be used to enter the building after 7:25am. With cold weather approaching, please plan accordingly for student drop off time between 6:55 and 7:20. Student entry into the building begins at 7:00am when the buses drop off. Homeroom begins at 7:25. Arriving after 7:25 is recorded as tardy to school. If you are tardy you will swipe into the building and scan your badge at the attendance window with Ms. Halliday in the main office. After you scan in for attendance your hall pass will be generated.
After 7:25am the only access into and exiting the building during the school day is through the main entrance. Students may not use any other door to enter or exit the building between 7:25am-1:55pm.
Please remember that you must have your student swipe and scan badge on you at all times.
Students may not share their badge with another person. The badge is for the sole use of the student it is issued to.
Appointments
All visitors must enter through the main entrance. All visitors must schedule appointments in advance. Visitors will be met in the front lobby by the staff member that the appointment is with and accompanied to the location of the appointment. Visitors arriving without an appointment will remain in the front lobby. Attempts to accommodate a visitor who does not have an appointment may not be possible. Please call in advance so that we can arrange a mutually convenient time for an appointment.
