CE’s Paige Budin Named Honored Hero for Philadelphia Light the Night
Five years after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, undergoing treatment and being declared cancer free, Cheltenham ES K-2 Learning Support teacher Paige Budin has been selected as this year’s Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter “Honored Hero” for Philadelphia LLS Light the Night campaign.
Since learning she was cancer free following months of chemotherapy and radiation, she has been raising money for the LLS through her team, Paige's Purple Pledge. The team’s goal through the end of the year is to raise $5,000, which will go directly to LLS in support of its longstanding mission to find cures and ensure patients have access to the treatments they need.
Make donations at Paige's Purple Pledge page. If you would prefer a hard copy of the donation form and letter, contact her at pbudin@cheltenham.org and she will forward a form. Read more>
