What are the most recent publications in your favorite journals?
Ed Tech Corner: Teaching Naked
Good luck to everyone on their finals and I hope you have exciting plans for break. The library is open over break, if we fit into your "exciting" plans, but we will have reduced hours. Check them out below.
Stress levels are rising so we ask that you be aware of your volume levels, especially during exams.
We have some new items at the information desk for students to play with so please check them out.
Also of interest is the latest project from Monica Howell on the research she and Dr. John Wolfe have been doing on Chiropractic Education in Minnesota. Please check out the linked website for a timeline of its history.
Finally, if you're interested in following the journals you read more closely, there are directions below on how to get updated notifications of what is being published. And if you are a faculty member wondering if flipped classrooms are right for you, the library has both of the Teaching Naked books available in the faculty collection for checkout. (Items in the faculty collection are available for anyone to check out--just ask.)
Good luck on your exams!

SILENCE!
While we welcome group work in the library, we do ask students to be extra careful about their volume during finals. This is especially true in our library as the acoustics amplify sound rather than mute it.
To help mitigate the noise, we do have quiet study rooms that can be checked out, although they aren't sound proof. We have noise cancelling headphones you can check out. We also have ear plugs available at the information desk.
Let's all work together to create a space conducive to studying.
White Boards
In addition, a large white board has been installed in Room 9. We'd like to thank maintenance for putting that up for us!
History of Chiropractic Education in MN
Monica has created a website compiling their findings. Check out the timeline and interactive map.
