Winter Sports Attendance Reminders

We are thrilled to be able to have spectators at our basketball games and wrestling matches. We know it is a challenge with the COVID restrictions we are obligated to follow. SFJH has the smallest area of our district's junior highs to accommodate our spectators. We are allowed two tickets per player for both teams. The tickets must be used by two parents. We want students to be able to attend our games, but cannot do so at this time. Please use the two tickets provided for only parents. We cannot allow students from either team to use the tickets provided. Thank you for understanding.

Orchestra Winter Concert at SFHS

The orchestra concert will take place at SFHS on December 17 with seating limited to two guests with tickets per performer. We will practice social distancing and masks that cover the nose and the mouth are required for all in attendance. SFCN Channel 17 will record the concert to be broadcast at a later date.

What Do I Do If I Am Quarantined?

Students who are placed on quarantine because of a close contact with a person who has tested positive should do the following:

  1. Check Canvas to find assignments and locate teacher information including office hours
  2. Email teachers to inform the them about the quarantine
  3. Unless a student is ill during quarantine, they should be working on any school work that is due to remain up to date

Frozen Jr.

This year's play will run on January 6, 7, 8 and 11, 2021. We are excited to be able to finally bring the performance to our school. This musical has been a long time in the making as we could not perform due to COVID restrictions last spring. Our original cast has come together to recreate the magic! We will have the guidelines for attendance coming after the holidays and families of the performers will receive their own video of the play.

Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Emily Jensen.

The National Anthem was sung by Devin Hatch and Sadie King.

All of these young people did a great job this morning and we appreciate their willingness to help all of us practice our citizenship. Thank you!

Drama I and II Class Plays

Miss Holley's Drama I and II students will be performing their class plays on December 16 and 17 during 3rd and 4th periods. The plays will be recorded and posted on our YouTube Channel. The link will be sent via email to the families of the students, but everyone is welcome to watch them at https://bit.ly/SFJHLOBOS. Look for the class play videos in January.
