A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Lowell Families,
Our students wrapped up the third quarter this week. Lowell students work hard everyday to do their personal best and to meet their academic goals! Our third grade students finished IREAD-3 testing this week. I am so very proud of their personal best effort on the assessment!! Third and fourth graders will take the iLearn Assessment starting on the week of April 22. The assessment window runs from April 22 - May 17. Look for more information after spring break.
Students brought home their report cards with third quarter grades today. Please take some time to review these with your children. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to teachers after break.
Our spring intersession begins Monday, March 18, 2019. Students will have two weeks off of school and are scheduled to return on Monday, April 1, 2019. Enjoy your time with your children over intersession. For those travelling….safe travels to you! Hoping we have more sunshine and some warmer weather! See you in April!

Good attendance = Good Academic Success
Below are March attendance percentages for each grade level. Remember, our attendance goal is 97%. We are heading into our last quarter of school for the 2018-2019 school year. Attendance at school is critical for student academic success! Missed days of instruction can create gaps in student learning. Please help to ensure that your child has access to critical instruction and learning by making sure he/she is at school every day!!
