Abrams Elementary School
TOGETHER --We Learn... We Achieve... We Grow
PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
We need your help...
Each student at school is working very hard to learn and each staff member works closely with other staff members to create a learning planning. We need your help to implement this learning plan. I am asking that each family commit to at least 2 nights of "homework." This can be listening to your child read, playing a math game, practicing spelling words. You don't need to work for a long time, only 10-15 minutes. If your family can do more nights, that is great but even a couple of nights will help your child's learning plan. See your child's teacher if you need ideas on how to help your child.
Let school know if you have any questions or concerns. We are here to work together.

Alec Ingold Motivational Guest Speaker
Alec, Mrs. Ingold’s son, came to Abrams Elementary and shared his journey to get to the NFL and being in the NFL. He talked to our third, fourth, and fifth graders about the importance of goal setting, being a good kid, and facing your fears. After his motivational speech he went into the classrooms and took some pictures and signed footballs, shirts, and helmets.
Alec Ingold is a fullback for the Miami Dolphins, and is also a motivational speaker, mentor and educator. He’s channeled his journey for greatness and lessons learned from both successes and failures along the way into his first book, an Amazon #1 Best-Seller, “The 7 Crucibles: An Inspirational Game Plan for Overcoming Adversity in Your Life.
