Thank you, CPCSC families! Moving to a new student information system is a big transition. Our team appreciates the patience our parents and students have shown during the switch to PowerSchool.

Another BIG thank you to our front office staff who have been working hard to finalize registrations and problem-solve as everyone becomes familiar with PowerSchool.

Don't forget that our district, schools, and classrooms will be using ParentSquare for mass/group communication this year. ParentSquare is our mass messaging tool and replaces previous platforms like Class Dojo, Remind, Bloomz, TalkingPoints, etc.

Parents who have not yet registered their account will receive an email invitation before school begins.

We encourage families to download the ParentSquare app. It allows you to set communication preferences and stay up-to-date on information from your child's school and teachers. Simply log in using the email or phone number you provided at registration.

ParentSquare: Unified, Secure, Equitable Engagement

For more information about our communications platforms, check out our Family Communications Guide.

  • As part of the transition to PowerSchool, students' Google passwords have been changed for the start of the school year. If you did not receive your student's password on August 9th in an email, you can call your child's school. In most cases, students can also wait to get their password on the first day.
  • You can learn more about technology in our classrooms by reviewing our information about GoGuardian and Blended/Personalized Learning.

Eating breakfast as a child helps establish healthy habits for later in life. If your child does not have time to eat breakfast at home, we would like to invite them to eat at school. We have several options to choose from.

Students, staff, and community members gathered at Taft Middle School last week to celebrate with a ribbon cutting.

Taft teacher Devin Lewis spoke at the event and recognized that in the coming weeks, students will make the building truly complete. “This space is begging to be filled with wonder, exploration and discovery,” she said. “The magic of Taft really begins on August 16th when our students join us with their unique interests, perspectives, and personalities. We cannot wait to enjoy their spirit and energy, and to allow it to fill the halls.”

Community members can see the new Taft building on September 21st from 4-6 p.m. during our Community Tour Night. Tours will be given approximately every 10-15 minutes. Taft is now located at 5235 E. 121st Ave, Winfield.
