Message from the Principal
We have just 3 weeks left. Attendance is a huge factor of student success. We need to make sure our students are in classrooms learning from the great JGHS staff.
This time of year moves extremely fast. We are finishing one school year and getting ready to start another. Let's make sure we keep focused on our grades and finish this year off right.
Students please make sure to check your school email regularly.
Attention: Please do not drop off students in the bus parking lot or drive across sidewalks these actions cause an extreme safety issue. Thank you

Senior Clap-Out - Permission slips were passed out to all seniors in their English class this week. Seniors may turn in their completed permission slip at all lunches starting Tuesday. When permission slips are turned in, that is when students will select the Elementary school they would like to visit. There is limited space on the buses, the earlier the student turns in their slip the more likely they are to get their chosen school. As a reminder, ALL seniors must attend school on Thursday, May 25. They will have breakfast and spend their last few hours as a student of John Glenn together. Seniors will then be clapped out of John Glenn, Stevenson Middle School and an elementary school of their choice.
Senior Prom - Prom is Thursday, May 25 from 6:30 - 10:30 pm at the Roostertail in Detroit. Ticket is required to attend. All students and guests should bring a picture ID (school ID or state ID) with them to check-in. Doors will close at 7:30 p.m., at which time dinner will be served.
