Band Camp Edition
Summer Band Camp (Week 2)
Monday-Friday (August 5-9)
11:30-1:00pm - LUNCH
1:00-4:00 pm - Music Rehearsal
Please remember to bring the following each day of camp:
Water Jug / Sunscreen / Instrument / Music / Breathing Tube / Pencil
*Each band student is also responsible to have the necessary supplies to perform, such as:
FLIP FOLDERS, LYRES, Reeds, Valve Oil, Slide Grease, Slide Cream, etc...
Should band members need supplies for the new school year, BROOK MAYS will be set-up to sell supplies on Wednesday, August 7th, during the lunch break.
**All Lobo Band students are required to attend each of these days of camp. We have begun teaching the drill and music for our 2019 contest show, "The Music of Sight."
Fruit Schedule (Week 2 - Band Camp)

Monday - Percussion (watermelon)
Tuesday - N/A (no morning rehearsal)
Wednesday - Flutes (oranges)
Thursday - All Clarinets (apples)
Friday - Color Guard (grapes)
Band PHYSICAL FORMS are due on Friday, August 9th! (UIL mandated)
Band Booster Meeting & Registration (Follow-up)
If you have not registered your student for the 2019-2020 Lobo Band, please be sure to do so on this evening. Students will also receive the Lobo Band Packet for the new year. This packet contains paperwork which must be completed and returned by the first week of school. This packet contains: Medical Consent Form & UIL 8-Hour Rule
*We are asking all Lobo Band students to bring ONE REAM OF PAPER (donation) to the meeting. Thank you!

Main Event Band Social
It's time again for the annual Main Event Band Social. Get ready to have some fun on Saturday, August 10th from 3-7 pm at the Main Event in Frisco (corner of Main Street and the Dallas North Tollway).
Cost is $20 per student and includes the following:
$10 FUNcard
2 Slices of Pizza and a Medium Drink
4 Hours of all you can play activities:
Bowling, Laser Tag, Gravity Ropes, Billiards, Shuffleboard, and Mini Golf
There is a sign-up sheet in the band hall (outside Mr. Felice's office) for all students who are planning to attend. For those of you who did not pay for the event at the Spring Registration, you can do the following:
1) Place $20 in the black box in the band hall. Be sure to use an envelope found on top of the black box and complete with your name and "Main Event".
2) Bring $20 to the next registration on Friday, August 9th, at the Summer Band Camp Performance.
Band Picture Day
Freshmen - 9:00-10:30 am
Sophomores - 10:30-12:00 pm
Juniors - 12:00-1:00 pm
Seniors - 1:00-2:00 pm
*If a student has a sibling in the band, they may come together regardless of time. If a student has a conflict where their designated time slot, they may come whenever is needed to have their picture taken. Please wear a t-shirt, so that it will be easy to slip on a band uniform jacket for the picture.
