What Is Stress???
Stress is a feeling that is created when we react to certain events, its the body's way of preparing itself to deal with a tough situation. But there are good and bad types of stress. The good kind of stress is called Eustress(short term), like when you get really nervous right before a sports event or going to give a speech to a crowd. Those are all good things that you get stress about for just a little bit. And then there is bad kind of stress which is called Distress(long term), this is when you would be like preparing for a test or moving to a new school or house.
Different Types of Stress
Physical
Headaches, Stomach aches, Dizziness, Back Pain, Weight Loss, Twitches, Cold Hands or Feet, inability to Sleep, Heartburn etc..
Emotional
Mood Change, Nightmares, Panic Attacks, Withdrawing from Others, Anger, Crying, Thoughts of suicide, Confusion, Feeling of Helplessness, Aggressiveness, Racing Thoughts, Etc.
Behavioral
Smoking, Nail Biting, Tapping, Pulling, Grinding Teeth, Use of Alcohol or Drugs, Compulsive Dieting or Overeating, Nervous Laughter, Pacing, Lateness, Putting Things Off, Not Caring About Personal Appearance, Etc.
