North Riverside Elementary

Week of December 8, 2014

PTA Holiday Gift Shop

The Gift Shop will open this week! Your child will have a chance to preview the items and then will have a day assigned to purchase any items. Please look at the pictures below with the items available at the store.

Best Attendance

Did you know one of the components in the Texas Schools accountability system is the attendance rate in our school? NRES is the only elementary school in Keller ISD with three distinctions out of five. We are working hard in being recognized in all five areas; and this is why we are working to ensure students attend school every day on time.

Congratulations to our third graders. They had the best attendance last week with 96.8%. Our goal for our campus this year is 97.5%. You can help us reach the goal by bringing your child to school every day on time. The doors open at 7:30 a.m. and class starts promptly at 8:00 a.m.

NRES Student Expectations

Our students have learned to follow the expectations in all common areas of the school. The NRES expectations are:

Nurture respect

Soar to success

When students are seen following these expectations in all common areas of the school, teachers provide tickets to students which they can exchange at the end of the grading period at the "Rockets' Store". Thank you for reviewing these expectations with your child!
