Nut Allergies
A number of students at Liholiho have documented food allergies, including allergies to nuts. I'm asking for your help in making Liholiho a safe campus for all by limiting (or eliminating) the number of nut products that you send to school with your children.
In addition to your support, we're also working to make the school safe for these children by preparing emergency action plans for them, educating necessary personnel on these plans, and by taking steps to separate students with allergies from those without. Thank you for partnering with us to improve the experience for all our students.
Kids Heart Challenge
Our Kids Heart Challenge kicked off last Wednesday with a virtual meeting with the American Heart Association (AHA). Students were introduced to the challenge, participated in a heart healthy activity, and learned about the Heart Heroes, characters that each represent a positive trait that aligns with improving student health.
Mele Murals Spring Program
Passing along information for a free Spring Break program for students in grades 3-5.
