After Prom- Business Sponsors needed
We are looking for local businesses to support the After Prom with a cash donation. We are offering incentives based on sponsorship level to show our gratitude. If you own a small business (or large business!) we would be so happy to accept your support!
Additional information (and sponsorship level grid) is available at http://tinyurl.com/APsponsors. These contributions demonstrate the community support for this safe, fun activity for our juniors and seniors and their guests late into the night after Prom -- an event that has been a Sycamore HS tradition since 1996.

After Prom- Parent donations needed
We are still short on our goal of parent donations for this fun event for the students on the late night after Prom. Please consider showing your support: https://www.sycamoreschools.org/Page/2974
The decades old tradition of After Prom did not happen in 2020 or 2021 due to the pandemic restrictions so we are very excited to be able to offer it to our students this year, and we need your help to make it happen! After Prom is run by the SHS PTO and financed completely through ticket sales, fundraisers, and contributions.

Illness-related Dismissal Advisory
The school health team monitors many different types of illness this time of year. We have been seeing many students for cold-like symptoms. At this time, we also have active COVID cases in the community. We ask that please direct your son or daughter to the nurses office prior to pick up. The nurse will contact you about illness and dismissal policies. Thank you very much for your assistance!

2021-22 Testing Schedule
AP Exam Information 2021 - 2022
As we begin the 2021-2022 school year, we are focused on keeping you up to date about AP exams. Under College Board, the 2022 AP exams will be given in the traditional format of paper & pencil throughout a two week testing period. There will only be one testing window and one test format for the 2022 AP exams. All AP students must create an online account in College Board in order to join the classroom for each AP course they are enrolled in. If a student wants to take the AP exam in May, they MUST click “Yes” for the AP exam in their online College Board account. The AP Exam Registration Window will be from August 23, 2021 - October 29, 2021. The cost of each exam is $96.00, including the processing fee. Your online College Board exam sign up, as well as your Parent Portal payment indicates a commitment to take the AP exam. Any student who signs up to take the test and decides to withdraw from an exam is subject to an unused exam charge and is required to fill out an AP exam opt out form. If a student registers after the deadline, a late registration fee/late payment fee of $40.00 will be applied to the initial AP exam cost. The late registration deadline is January 28, 2022, NO EXCEPTIONS. A few additional important points about AP testing:
AP exam registration is only available to students who click “YES” via College Board online classroom.
AP payment is only available via Parent Portal.
Sycamore does not offer all AP exams, however, a student may register to take the exam at another school. Your student is responsible for making those arrangements to take the AP exam at another school.
Please contact Adrienne Sanders (sandersa@sycamoreschools.org) or Jane Ghantous (ghantousj@sycamoreschools.org ) with any questions.
