Orville and Wilbur Wright
First Airplane
The Fist Airplane
Wilbur and Orville set to work trying to figure out how to design wings for flight. They observed that birds angled their wings for balance and control, and tried to emulate this, developing a concept called “wing warping.” When they added a movable rudder, the Wright brothers found they had the magic formula-on December 17, 1903, they succeeded in flying the first free, controlled flight of a power-driven, heavier than air plane. Wilbur flew their plane for 59 seconds, at 852 feet, an extraordinary achievement.

How much does the first Airplane cost and why would you like to buy it?
The Wright brothers sold their 1908 Model A Flyer to the Army Signal Corps under a $25,000 contract that included R&D, materials and provided a significant profit.
The Wright Flyer B, in 1911, was offered for sale to the public for $5,000.
Thanks to Garrick Saito, we know that, adjusted for inflation, $25,000 in 1908 would be approximately $650,000 in today's dollars
You would like to but the first airplane because it is a piece of history.

How was the first airplane powered?
The wright brothers had made gliders and they invested three years of work from 1900 and 1902 on trying to do unpowered and learning to fly.i would take another three years of work, from 1903 to 1905 until problems on the powered airplane were sloved. Based on the success of their 1902 gliders the brothers decides to build a lager, powered version of the aircraft upon their return to Dayton in the late 1902. The brothers made injuries with many automobile manufactures to procure an engine which would meet their requirements for both light weight and a moderate horse power.
