Anime Club

Blackout Club
As the IAM's Black Student Caucus, the Black Out Club seeks to spread awareness about and discuss current events within the black community. Our big event every year is our annual Black History Month presentation, which we present to the entire school. Coding Club

College Essay Writing Club

Creative Writing Club

Diversity Club
This club is for any individuals that would like to learn more about different cultures and way of life. This group meets 1-2 times a month to discuss cultural and societal issues. Drama Club
In drama club, students are able to utilize different theatre and drama games to increase their comfort with public speaking, and improving their ability to improvise and work within a group.

Dungeons and Dragons Club
Destiny is calling all brave adventurers! DnD is coming back in a storm this year! Play with friends to combat the villains and aid the NPCs in campaigns. We will meet Tuesdays at 2:35 (After classes). This club is a great opportunity for students engage with old friends and new, even if remotely. This year, as long as we are virtual, we will be taking the adventures to discord to allow for an engaging and socially distant experience. See Mr. Jones and Mr. Johnson for information. Economics Club
More than just a celebration of all things economics, the Economics club is an opportunity for students to develop and grow their critical thinking, presentation, and problem solving skills. The Economics club offers students several opportunities to participate in Economics based competitions. Often with prizes and scholarships on the line. Students have had opportunities to engage with professionals in the field. Through our career readiness academy (targeted for Juniors) students have taken part in field trips and job skills training as well. French Honor Society - Societe Honor French
Juniors and Seniors who take French are eligible to apply for membership in La Société Honoraire de Français. Students in this group will be responsible for tutoring / mentoring the Freshmen and Sophomore French students throughout the school year and planning activities for French Week and/or World Language week. German Club
This club promotes in German culture, language, and food! We offer opportunities for German students and non-German students to experience and participate in fun aspects of German culture. The IAM chapter of Delta Epsilon Phi is open to juniors and seniors who meet the requirements to apply (see Frau Nagle for more details). Members of Delta Epsilon Phi help to support German students at the IAM through tutoring and mentorship, as well as promote interest in German language and culture in the IAM community and beyond. Global Peace Club
Global Peace Club is a non-profit organization at the IAM that raises awareness on social injustices across the world and local. This is in partnership with The United Institute of Peace and Global Giving. Members discuss current issues on racial and religious discrimination. However, our social media supporters are international and from places like Peru, Tanzania, Canada, India, Bangladesh, Australia and others. NAHS is a program to inspire and recognize students who have shown an outstanding ability and interest in art. National Honor Society
The IAM Chapter of the National Honor Society is a group specific to Juniors and Seniors at the IAM who have met the requirements for membership set forth by the chapter bylaws. This includes an application for membership based on the four pillars of the NHS: leadership, scholarship, character, and service. 11th & 12th grade students with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 and above are invited to apply for membership at the start of each school year. Quiz Bowl
Quiz Bowl is an academic trivia competition between various school in the Macomb County area. Think of it as a team Jeopardy competition. League Meets generally run from September to the end of January, but we practice the rest of the year. Science Olympiad is a national student-based organization which allows students to pursue their interests in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Science Olympiad requires preparation, commitment, and practice, but fosters skills such as teamwork and a passion for STEM. Students will have the opportunity to compete in a variety of event against other teams from across the state. We meet on Tuesdays. We and other UNICEF High School Clubs partner with the US Fund for UNICEF to help with UNICEF’s mission to advocate for the world’s children, including protection of their rights and expansion of their opportunities to meet their full potential. In our club we will focus on service, education, advocation, and fundraising to help our community and our world. We meet Thursdays, twice a month.
