FROM THE PTO
With graduation approaching for Marshfield High School seniors this Saturday, June 8, the Grad Nite Live Committee is in their final preparations for the annual all-night celebration. Starting on Friday, many volunteers from across town, including many of our students, will help with the preparations involved in transforming MHS into a fun and festive place to celebrate.
On Saturday June 8, from 7-9 pm at MHS, Grad Nite Live will hold a public viewing for all except our graduating seniors. Come see how MHS has been transformed into a place of celebration for our seniors to spend one last time all together. Each year, Grad Nite Live draws nearly the entire graduating class into the high school starting at 11 pm for a night full of entertainment chock full of activities, music, dancing, movies, games and food.
The event began 23 years ago as a community gift to the graduating class as a way to provide a fun, safe environment to celebrate graduation, free of alcohol and drugs. There are hundreds of people who get involved to make this event happen every year including parents, artists, local businesses, restaurants and many more. This is an extraordinary community that cares about our kids!
We hope you’ll join us at MHS for the Grad Nite Live public viewing on Saturday June 8 from 7-9 pm.
The Grad Nite Live Steering Committee
P.S. Remember, graduates are not allowed at the public viewing. They are invited to come back to the school at 11 pm when their celebration begins!
