Free Technology Curriculum
Applied Digital Skills is Google's new curriculum designed for an in-school, self-paced blended learning environment where students age 13 and up practice life skills while building projects using Google’s Suite of apps. It's completely free and a great resource for teachers who are looking to help their students learn the digital literacy skills they need to be successful in any number of careers and jobs available today or in the future.
The curriculum uses video-based lessons, and students work both independently and collaboratively. To learn more, visit g.co/AppliedDigitalSkills.

Google Classroom Tips and Best Practices
Don't forget to Follow Google for Education on Twitter @GoogleforEdu for more!
Tip #1 - Post videos right after the lesson: After a lesson, students may need to review some important concepts. Post lesson related videos on Classroom for your students to review later.
Tip 2# - Save classroom time: Teachers can save instructional time in class by posting previous homework keys on Google Classroom so students check their own work.
Tip #3 - Curate a list of summer reading options: Share summer reading and associated activities on Google Classroom. Students will have access all summer.
Tip#4 - Share to Classroom extension: Teachers can use this extension to direct students to a website instantly. All students that enrolled in that class will be sent to that site.
