6th Grade Greek Festival
Annual time travel back to the turn of the millenium
Greek and Roman Times
Festival Fashion: CMS 6th graders should get ready to pull out the chitons and togas! There are many no sew options on the internet. Most use an old (or new) sheet. Mrs. Rothfuss requires wearing a school appropriate outfit underneath (shorts and tank or t-shirt) in case of any wardrobe malfunctions. This is for extra credit!
Let's Eat: Students will need to bring a sack lunch (no one will be leaving the fenced area of the plaza) and Greek Snacks to share (see examples below)!
- Olives
- Grapes, figs, apples, pears, or other fresh fruit
- Cucumbers or other fresh veggies
- Pita bread or chips
- Cheese - cubed or sliced
- Hummus
- Honey
- Any Greek recipe online that does not need to be served hot. Foods can be refrigerated for the day.
Events: Greek games, Roman games, Greek dancing and much more!
Schedule of events to be announced!
*Students are encouraged to bring sunscreen!*
