MSE Elementary Cordova Charter Approval
On Tuesday, September 17th SCS board approved our MSE Elementary Cordova application. MSE Elementary Cordova would start in 2020-2021 school year. Our 6-12 application, MSE Cordova was denied based on the saturation in Cordova Middle School. We are going to appeal the decision to the state.
Thank you to everyone for your support!
A special thanks to our friends and coworkers attending the board meeting on Tuesday September 17th.
MSE Graduation Rate
MSE would like to congratulate the 2018-2019 for their graduation rate of of 98%!
Our 2018-2019 graduation rate was the third highest in all of Shelby County! Thank you to all of our staff, parents, and students who worked hard last school year to make sure that all of our seniors were on track for graduation. We are proud of our graduating students and can't wait to see what the future has in store for them.
Check out the graph displaying MSE's graduation rates from 2014 to 2019 in comparison with Shelby County Schools.
MSE Dual Enrollement Program
This year Memphis School of Excellence has partnered with Southwest Community College's dual enrollment program. With this partnership, our students will be able to receive college credits during high school. Students received a Tennessee Dual Enrollment grant which allows them to enroll in two dual enrollment classes for free. We would like to highlight our first group of seniors to participate in this program.
