Welcome Keith Hawkins 9/13

Keith Hawkins has been invited to our building this Tuesday. He will deliver a message to all of our students int he morning and provide a workshop for select students in the afterbnoon. we are looking forward to his message about leadership, community, respect and being the difference. We look forward to sharing more this week after this great experience!

Immunization Requirements for Students Entering 7th Grade

The Ohio Department of Health requires all students to receive the following immunizations prior to entering 7th grade:

One 1 dose of Meningococcal (MCV41 vaccine (A second dose of meningococcal vaccine will be required prior to entry into the 12th grade)

• One (1) dose of Tdap [tetanus, diphtheria and pertussisl vaccine

Your 7th grade student will need to show proof of having received the Meningococcal [MCV4] vaccine and the Tdap booster before they can return to school for the 2022-2023 school year. Section 3313.671 of the Ohio Revised Code states that students who do not provide documentation of these immunizations will be excluded from school on the 15th day after school entrance, until proof is provided.

In Strongsville City Schools, students who do not have documentation on file will be excluded from school beginning September 26, 2022.

LExemptions are provided for under law. Call if you would like more information) Please contact your health care provider or the County Board of Health at 216-201-2041 to schedule an appointment if your student has not yet received these immunizations.

REMINDERS:

DO NOT PASS AFTER DROP OFF- please be mindful that this is a one way lane do not go around other cars as student exit from both sides
Be ready to dismiss your car- we are asking for students to get out of cars swiftly and for cars to pull forward so we can keep the line moving
Students are AT RISK being dropped off in neighboring lots and walking through our traffic pattern. Please do not put your student into an unsafe situation
If you arrive before 7:40, drop your student off and drive away. Parking and waiting only creates more traffic. If you are here early, your student can wait by the doors.
