January 8th - February 14 (~6 weeks)
Rules:
TO START: January 8th pay your $5 buy in to Caroline and weigh with Nurse Amanda to get your starting weight! And write down your goal for the next 3 weeks and 6 weeks! You can give it to Amanda to write down on the spreadsheet or just for you to have! I find it more encouraging to set shorter term goals so when I reach them it is more encouragement to keep going! Rather than continue to see how far off you are from your end goal.
WEIGH-IN: every Friday with Nurse Amanda and pay $1 - Weekly Individual Winner $5 (Earn your buy-in back!)
FINAL WEIGH-IN: Thursday, February 14th $1 - - then go celebrate (in moderation) & enjoy a Valentine’s/Galentine’s dinner!
You (or your team) MUST weigh-in at least 3 times to be eligible for the GRAND PRIZE!
EAT/WORK OUT: You may choose whichever nutritional plan and or exercise plan! But you must state what you are doing at each weigh in! Paleo, Keto, Weight Watchers, Macros, Whole 30, BeachBody, etc., and if you worked out X many of times. (At the end I will share percentages of weight loss, nutritional/exercise plans with no names - I think it would be neat to see what works for some and maybe give others ideas.) You may change your plan at any time!
WINNER: will be based on highest lost percentage! No real weights will be shared with anyone! If enough interest we will do teams! If teams, ONE Grand Prize team with get the whole pot. If we go individual, we will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes!
FUN!! This is all about having fun with co-workers, challenging ourselves to be the best we can be, and to make healthy choices! Drink LOTS of water (that is my New Years Resolution #belikewaddill), get at least 7 hours of sleep, get moving (go on a walk with loved ones/friends, walk your dog, try a new exercise class with a friend or by yourself), give yourself time to RELAX (read a good book, long bath/shower, new face mask, go get a massage, see a chiropractor). Let’s take care of OURSELVES so we can better take care of our families, friends, co-workers, and our students.
