LHS Weekly Update #2

August 7, 2020

Lathrop Families,

We are busy preparing for a unique school year and appreciate everyone's patience as we continue to work through the details. A reminder that all students will be starting remotely on August 20th. I should be able to share a remote schedule with you next week and am hoping to have student schedules up on Powerschool by Friday, August 14th.

Last week's update included a sample schedule and other helpful information. If you didn't get a chance, take a moment to read through Weekly Update #1.

Below you will find details on the Lathrop Launch - an opportunity to come pick up a schedule, books and other materials to start the school year.

In addition, if you qualify for free and reduced lunch - apply today (you must re-apply every year). Being on free and reduced lunch gives families opportunities for food support and various school support services.

Take care. Stay safe. And look for more details coming soon.

Lathrop Launch

Each student should come to Lathrop to pick up their schedule, books, materials, check out a Chromebook (if needed), and receive a packet of information from your teachers.

Select a time on August 17th, 18th, or 19th to come to Lathrop to pick up your schedule and materials.

Appointment Times:

Monday, August 17th 11am-7pm

Tuesday, August 18th 11am-7pm

Wednesday, August 19th 9am-3pm

Park in the student parking lot. Enter at the Hering (Spirit Rock) entrance. Social distancing expected.

Student and one parent/guardian may enter the building. Masks required. In order to check out a Chromebook a parent/guardian must be present to sign required paperwork (students 18 or older can sign their own form).

Sign up for your day and time through this link.

*If you have more than one Lathrop student, each should sign up for a time. Students within one family can enter the school together.

**If none of those times work for your family, contact our front office and we will work with you.

If you have NOT yet told us your plans for the semester, please click on your choice below. Today is deadline to register for eLearning. Contact our front office or your counselor if you have any questions.
