Principal's Message
The budget impasse has negatively impacted SD308 and many other area school districts as they have had to tap their reserves, pay interest on bonds used to ensure proper cash flows until state payments come in and such.
Check out https://www.sd308.org/budget101 for more information.

Ms. Schwertley's ELA Mock Trial
In a stunning upset today, Johnny Cade was found GUILTY of manslaughter. The crowd looked on in dead silence as Johnny was handcuffed and led away. Both the prosecution and defense had extremely strong witnesses, evidence, and cross examination. The closing statements were a amazing, and caused the jury to mention how impressed they were by them. The case was not without drama, however. Students from other classes who came to watch might have thrown the final results, and this rumor is being looked into.
Every parent should be amazingly proud of their student. This type of project is about as high level as it gets and I could not be more impressed or more proud of every single student. Watching was a thing of beauty. Additional photos
