Settlements
Some of the colonies include, Roanoke, Jamestown, Virginia, and Georgia. It has a mostly wet landscape, mountains, forests, steep hills, and part of Coastal Plains. The soil beside the Coastal Plains is very fertile and the hilly landscape was good for growing rice.
Life
There are hot summers, and mild winters, and there are are also some conflicts with the Native Americans, but these are minor.Sometimes indians try to scare off settlers but they do not harm settlers. There are some diseases, these include smallpox and measles.
Economy
Most of the settlers grow corn, rice, indigo, sugarcane, cotton, and tobacco.They grow this on large plantations.They also raised cattle and pigs. The soil beside the Coastal Plains make fertile land for growing tobacco. The hilly land in North and South Carolina is good for growing rice.
