Annual Mock Accident Scene at BHR held by SADD to Promote Safe Prom Season

Ms. Ana Peach (SADD Adviser) and our School Resource Officer, Scott Connor, organized the accident scene for the junior class in the parking lot to make sure our students understand the dangers behind the wheel this time of year. Members of the Canton Police Department were on hand to work the fake scene as if it were a real emergency.

The goal of the mock accident is to show our students the dangers of driving under the influence, texting and driving and driving distracted. Our SADD members played the accident victims in the crashed vehicles (below). Hopefully, with the facts, our students will make good decisions.

Crash Scene Injured Victim: Mitchell Mafra, Senior (on stretcher)
