Support your summer learning goals with the Montgomery Virtual Program. Whether you are looking for Credit Recovery, Course Advancement, or want access to a unique Summer Enrichment Program, MVP has curriculum offerings and teaching services to support your goals and earn course credit. Registration will open on May 1.

CREDIT RECOVERY

Stay on pace and graduate on time with a wide selection of multimedia-based curricular options. MVP Credit Recovery helps students catch up on courses they may not have successfully completed during the current school year.

SUMMER COURSE ADVANCEMENT

Give your students the option to advance their curricular program. MVP Course Advancement allows motivated students to fulfill prerequisites or other requirements to open up their school-year schedule or meet individual learning goals.

SHORE UP

The 2020-2021 school year was severely impacted by the COVID-19 virus. Join us this summer to Shore-Up your skills and ensure students can enter the 21-22 school year confident that their previous grade level was fully completed. Every course includes a certified teacher to support student learning.

CHART YOUR PATH FORWARD

With MVP, the Summer of 2021 is an opportunity to explore your personal or career interests at your own pace. The Montgomery Virtual Program offers a diverse summer non-credit enrichment course catalog that affords our students access to personalized learning experiences and career and technical exploration.

Congratulations to our Seniors!

MVP Wishes You the Very Best!

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.

MVP Mindful Moment

Summer Ideas

1. The Popsicle Challenge

The next time you eat a popsicle on a hot day, be silent until your popsicle is entirely gone. Really notice all the different tastes. What flavors do you notice? Does the popsicle start to feel different in your mouth as it starts melting? What temperature changes do you notice? Was it hard to stay quiet?

2. Sky Study

Put a blanket down on the lawn and spend some time staring at the clouds. What shapes do you see? Animals? People? Spend at least 10-15 minutes studying the sky — and notice how the clouds gently move along. Notice how the cloud that first looked like a pig now looks like a cat. Our minds are kind of like the sky — thoughts float through on their own, and they change on their own. We can watch our thoughts in our minds like we watch the clouds!

3. Noticing Walk

Go for a walk in your neighborhood and notice 10 things you've never really paid attention to before — perhaps the color of the neighbor’s shutters or the flowers along the way. You could also try to listen for new sounds, too. Why do you think you've never noticed these before?

Meet Our Team

Anne Draus, MVP Program Coordinator

Anne began her career with the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in 1994. Over the years, she has worked in various IU offices with many of those years spent in the Office of Technology.

In 2015 Anne transferred to the Office of Professional Learning, under the direction of Dr. Donna Gaffney, to assist the OPL Administrative Team in creating and implementing the Montgomery Virtual Program. In addition to helping to form the vision for MVP, Anne’s role was to create a system for tracking partners, registrations, enrollments, communications, billing and other data.

In her role as Program Coordinator, Anne works with school administrators, counselors, teachers, parents, students, and vendors. Her focus on customer service has helped MVP to grow exponentially and now proudly serve over 90 schools throughout Pennsylvania.

Anne is grateful for her career at MCIU and the opportunity to work with talented and caring people. Anne is a Christian, wife, mother of two, and grandmother of four. She enjoys spending time with her family, trying new recipes, walking her dog, beach vacations, and relaxing with friends. Anne has an A.S.B in Network Administration and a B.S. in Technical Management.
