School Hours
All Day 4K - 5th Grade (8:15 a.m.-3:20 p.m.)
Doors open at 7:45 a.m. Students can go down to classrooms at 8:00 a.m.
A.M. 4K Class (8:15-11:00 a.m. - Monday - Friday)
Please note that students must be in their classroom ready to learn at 8:15 a.m. or they will be marked tardy. A tardy does count against student absences. Plan to have students to school by 8:10 so that everyone has enough time to get settled and ready for the day. Thank you so much for your help with this.
PLEASE READ: Campbellsport School District Athletic Event Expectations for Students
Our high school athletes love to play for an energetic and big crowd! We encourage elementary school students and their parents to come to our games and show their school spirit and pride with appropriate behavior and positive cheering.
In the past, particularly at football games and basketball games, we have had students congregating in the courtyard area or hallways, instead of watching the game. Please be aware that this is not allowed and students will be asked to sit in the bleachers or leave the event. Elementary school students are expected to sit with the adult that brought them. They should not be running around or playing tag.
For the safety of everyone in attendance and so that all fans are able to fully enjoy the games, we have some event guidelines that must be followed:
All spectators should be watching the game from the bleachers or top of the hill
No student re-admittance
No bikes, skateboards, scooters, frisbees, balls etc
No carry ins, backpacks, noise makers
No pets
You can find a schedule of our home sporting events on our school website.
Thank you for understanding the importance of these guidelines and we hope to see you at many events throughout the year! Go Cougars!

Monthly Assembly
Birthday Treats
If you choose to send a birthday treat with your child, please make sure that they are pre-packaged, store bought treats to be sure that we can check ingredients due to student allergies. Parents have the option to tell their child’s teacher that they prefer for them not to participate in the treats if they so choose. Also, please remember to check with your child’s teacher about allergies in the classroom. We do have students with specific allergies and we need to keep those foods out of the classrooms. Also, please note that birthday treats are not expected. It is a family's choice if they would like to provide this for the class or not.
Building Access and Driver's License
A Couple Of Reminders:
In order to enter the classroom areas while students are present in the building, you will need to stop in the office to sign in, this includes before school as well. In order to complete the check in process, you will need your Driver’s License or state issued ID. This is a safety check to ensure we have an accurate record of who is in our building at all times. Thank you for your cooperation.
Sick Students
In order to keep our school as healthy as possible, we ask that you keep your child home if they are not feeling well. Symptoms include:
New cough
Shortness of breath
Loss of taste or smell
Fever of 100 degrees or higher
Chills
Congestion or runny nose not attributed to allergies
Body or muscle aches
Sore throat

CDC recommends that in order to ensure not spreading illnesses, that students may return to school when they are 24 hours fever/symptom free with no medications or after symptoms have improved.
Thank you in advance for your help in keeping everyone as healthy as possible.

Title 1
The Title I program in the Campbellsport School District strives to help each student achieve to the best of their ability. Title I is a federally-funded program that provides academic support and teacher training. The purpose of Title I is to reinforce classroom instruction and provide opportunities to help students meet the state's performance standards. For each child to be successful, parents, teachers, and students must work as a team. Literacy Corner
To help your child become a better reader and writer:
Introduce a new vocabulary word every day and challenge your child to use it in different contexts throughout the day. This will help to expand vocabulary and support language and literacy skills. Vocabulary is the building blocks for oral and written language. Helping your child develop a robust vocabulary will aid them in speaking, reading, and writing more effectively and with greater confidence.
