Think about this picture and statement about a PERSEVERANCE...
Turk was struggling with technology, as sometimes happens to people of his generation. Being completely baffled, he accepted help from members of a younger generation. He perseveres with their help and they help him learn to accomplish his task.
Thank you to Turk for modeling this behavior for the video. We have all felt the frustration of not being able to accomplish something that should seem simple, but for whatever reason, we are stuck in task. Too often, we do not do what Turk did in the video...ask for help. We can let the frustration win, and give up, rather than reaching out to those around us for help. Not only does Turk persevere through the task, the video also models a good sense of community as the students come alongside him to help solve the task together. Never let the frustrations on the outside, kill the fire you have on the inside. Persevere! You can work through almost anything in your life if you are willing to stick with it!

1-5-20 Resources
If you only have 1 minute this week read this:
A conceptual idea reads great in a book, but you don’t actually do it. A conceptual principle sounds great in a quote, but doesn’t guide your day-to-day actions.
A functional action gets done. You do it, measure it, assess it, and improve it based on the real outcomes it produces. Functional principles drive personal behavior. They are the standard and guide for day-to-day actions.
What is conceptual is useful, if it gets you into something functional. Otherwise you’re caught confusing ideas for action. You don’t truly understand something unless you do it. Ideas aren’t worth much alone. Execution is everything.
Do The Work.

Similar to the article I included in last week's 20 minute section. Here is a great podcast encouraging us to keep our work in the appropriate range so that we can accomplish more by doing less.
