Starting Next Week! MATH TUTORING!!
The Distance Learning Academy will now be offering math tutoring on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We will try to stick to these days as best as we can, knowing that some weeks we will have to adjust.
There are virtual Google Meet sessions and in-person sessions. We will be rotating the sessions in an every other day model.

- Then select the appointment slot that works for you.
- Your name will be entered automatically in the what field. This is important that you keep your name there so that the teacher knows who he is working with.
- Please enter what you need help with in the description - please be specific. Don't say I need math help.
- Click Save
Virtual Google Meets
If you select a virtual meeting session, the teacher will send you an email with the link to the Google Meet. Please make sure you are watching your emails for that.
In-Person Tutoring
In-Person tutoring will occur at North Branch Area Education Center. We are located at 38705 Grand Ave., North Branch, MN 55056. Enter the building through door 1 and let the front desk person know that you are there to receive math tutoring. They will then bring you to our room. We do not provide transportation. Each session is 30 minutes. If you do drop your child off, please plan accordingly.
Please take advantage of this opportunity. There are a limited amount of sessions we offer per week. Please make sure you reserve your time soon.
REMINDER! Attendance is so important - Our Goal is for all students to attend more than 90% of the school days
Having a ritual and routine for doing school and a place in your home to do school is the first step in having good attendance. We want all of our students to attend every day and no less than 90% of the time. Attending and participating in school every day is our expectation. Students who attend school more than 90% are more likely to reach their full potential and achievement goals.
When your child is sick or when there are family appointments that coincide with school please call 651-674-1052 to excuse the absence. We monitor daily attendance closely because of the impact that it has on students reaching their full potential. Thank you for your cooperation.

The long weekend is a great time to get caught up in school! Make sure you are reviewing the Friday weekly progress reports that are sent at 5:00 PM!
If you are not signed up, please do so. Families yet to sign up for Edementum Sensei will receive an email from Edmentum Sensei that will allow you to set up and create your account. Please make sure you check your email spam folder in case your email security forced the email into your spam. If you have issues with creating the account please communicate with the support staff at Parentsupport@isd138.org
